Joe Musso's plays have been presented in seventeen states and in Canada. From July 25-26, 2008, Stormy Weather Players will produce his short play Buried at Sea as part of its 2008 New Plays Festival in Cornwall, New York. From June 20-22, 2008, Buried at Sea was also produced at Old Opera House Theatre Company's 8th Annual New Voice Play Festival in Charles Town, West Virginia, and is slated to be produced by Algonquin Theater Productions in one of its One-Act Festivals on a date to be determined. On June 23, 2008, his full-length play Blood Water received a staged reading at White Horse Theatre Company in New York City. On June 13-14, 2008, his one-minute play He'll Never Learn was produced at Screaming Media Productions' Gone in 60 Seconds Play Festival at the New Workshop Theater on Brooklyn College Campus in Brooklyn, New York. On May 30, 2008, his full-length play Voodoo Today Here Now 5 received a reading at Penobscot Theatre's 2nd Annual Northern Writes New Play Festival in Bangor, Maine. From May 8-10, 2008, his ten-minute play The Gardener was produced at the 3rd Annual Toronto Ten Minute Play Festival in Toronto, Canada. From March 12-15, 2008, the University of West Alabama produced a full-evening of his work entitled Touch Blind Love Kandy: An Evening of Joe Musso's Short Plays. Also in March 2008, he was a guest speaker and panelist at The 28th Annual Writing Today Writers' Conference at Birmingham-Southern College. Two of his ten-minute plays are published by Heuer Publishing and another two, Heads Up and Paper Bag, will soon be published by Brooklyn Publishers. Joe lives in Birmingham, Alabama, and New Orleans, Louisiana, and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc.
